Today, I’m excited to share that Uniqode has raised $25 million in Series A funding led by Telescope Partners, with the participation of our existing investor Accel Partners.
Telescope Partners’ success in empowering profitable B2B SaaS businesses into category leaders aligns with our vision for Uniqode.
This funding is a stepping stone in our journey to transform how the physical and digital worlds communicate to build better customer experiences.
Reimagining Phy-gital customer experiences
Over the last twelve months, QR Codes have emerged as the default customer engagement technology for brands and businesses. Today, we see them everywhere—on the packaging, billboards, business cards, gyms, museums, and restaurants.
Brands of all sizes use Uniqode QR Codes in myriad ways—to streamline operations, reduce workflow friction, drive customer engagement, measure the RoI of physical marketing channels, or to just become more environment-friendly.
While Deloitte Digital used Uniqode to capture data insights from TV commercials, Hard Rock Cafe used our platform to drive customer engagement at all their locations. We also saw brands such as Kone Elevators and Pepsi streamline their information delivery for their on-field employees. Healthcare providers, like PatientPoint, to retail locations like FedEx stores, are leveraging the Uniqode platform to eliminate all paper collaterals and boost customer engagement.
We have seen a growth of over 400% in the number of QR Codes being created and scanned by 150+ million users. The market is expanding, and the use cases continue only to broaden. This Series A funding further validates this growing demand for QR Codes in the market and the problem we are solving.
What’s next at Uniqode?
This new funding will enable Uniqode to develop its market-leading platform further, build a world-class team, and ultimately enable new and existing customers to adopt QR Codes. This will help businesses create personal connections with a wide audience at scale and bridge physical world customer experiences to digital.
In 2022, as the market matured, G2—the largest and most trusted software review marketplace—listed the “QR Code platform” as a new category, and customers unanimously voted Uniqode as the most trusted and loved QR Code platform.
With this new funding, we will strive to expand our product portfolio further, keeping ourselves honest with the needs of our customers. Our ability to grow fast yet frugally can be attributed to all our teams across product, marketing, and sales being tightly aligned with the core principles of product-led growth, which will continue to be a driver for us.
I also want to thank all our customers and users for believing in us and inspiring us to deliver a product worthy of their trust. As we enter 2023, I am stoked to enhance our product offerings and build new GTM motions to capture the growing market.
